About the position

Korte Does It All, a leading home services company in Fort Wayne, Indiana, is seeking an Electrical Apprentice. The position involves hands-on training and development in residential electrical services.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical service, maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
• Perform whole house rewires.
• Work side-by-side with experienced electricians in the industry.
• Receive hands-on training in repair, maintenance, and installation.
• Assist with parts, tools, delivery, and installation at job sites.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, requiring dexterity and the ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ensure plumbing systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of electrical apprentice experience (REQUIRED).
• Customer service and sales skills.
• Residential electrical experience or completion of electrical schooling.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
