About the position

The Electrical Assembler position at Stand-By Personnel involves assembling electrical components and ensuring they are properly secured and connected. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to complete assembly tasks efficiently. This is a temp-to-hire position based in Pryor, Oklahoma, with a focus on quality and precision in electrical assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts for assembly.
• Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, drill, rivet, solder, cement, and press fit parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Mount assembled components such as transformers, resistors, and capacitors on chassis panels.
• Connect component lead wires to printed circuits and route wires between components using soldering and bonding procedures.
• Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
• Assemble and attach hardware like caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies.
• Adjust or trim materials from components to meet specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
• Maintain good documentation and attention to detail.
• Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to frequently stand and sit.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
