About the position

Nesco is seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in electrical assembly and be knowledgeable in electrical work, including the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, identify electrical components, and perform electrical testing.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test, and repair electrical components, equipment, and systems according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and wiring of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical wiring and circuitry to identify and solve problems.
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers and other technicians to develop and implement testing procedures for equipment performance assessment.
  • Identify and select electrical parts and components to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate logs of electrical assemblies, maintenance activities, and inventory levels.
  • Follow safety standards and procedures to ensure that work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in electrical assembly with a strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when necessary.
