The Electrical Automation Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, installing, and upgrading automated equipment and systems within a pharmaceutical and biomedical environment. This position is essential for ensuring that all automated systems operate efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall mission of improving healthcare outcomes. The technician will be responsible for responding to equipment trouble calls, determining corrective actions, and communicating effectively with various departments including manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to both scheduled and unplanned maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment is functioning optimally and in compliance with relevant laws and safety standards.
