About the position

The Electrical B2B Manager at Strada Electric & Security is responsible for overseeing front-line employees to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations. This role involves hiring and training staff, organizing and directing their schedules, and providing constructive performance evaluations. The manager will also handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy. This position requires collaboration with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities across departments, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Electrical B2B Manager will collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess production data to identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in processes, materials, equipment, or skills. Regular inspections of products for quality and defects are essential, as is ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational guidelines. The manager will develop and implement procedures and strategies to maintain a safe work environment and will collaborate with other departmental managers to develop and execute budgets. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the overall goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee front-line employees to ensure efficiency and quality in production operations.
  • Hire and train front-line employees.
  • Organize, direct, and oversee the schedules and work of front-line employees.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Collaborate with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments.
  • Collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess production data.
  • Regularly inspect and evaluate products for quality and defects.
  • Identify and correct problems and inefficiencies in process, materials, equipment, or skills.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
  • Develop and implement procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departmental managers to develop and execute budget.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in related field, or equivalent industry work experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of supervisory experience highly preferred.
  • Customer Service Experience dealing with customer escalated situations.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of Residential Electrical & AC Operations.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong knowledge of (NEC) National Electric and Local Codes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Thorough understanding of safety and health laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Thorough understanding of raw materials, production processes, quality control, cost management, and other effective manufacturing and distribution techniques.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
