About the position

The Project Manager I at Rosendin is a mid-level position responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects from planning through completion. This role ensures client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and managing project activities effectively. The Project Manager will work under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager, supervising project activities, managing financial aspects, and maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize projects under the direction of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.
• Supervise and direct project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers.
• Provide project management expertise to establish initial client contact and assess project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Prepare complete estimates for selected projects with detailed reviews of plans and specifications.
• Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
• Supervise the preparation and negotiation of all change orders on the project.
• Monitor construction activities with onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
• Investigate serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines.
• Prepare monthly costing reports under supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company's interests while maintaining good client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and preferred knowledge of Accubid and Oracle.
• Effective performance management skills and extensive knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
