About the position

The Electrical Controls / Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing and testing control software for various PLC-based systems, ensuring project requirements are met, and managing project budgets. This role requires strong technical skills in electrical engineering and automation, along with effective communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement solutions for project system requirements and develop system specifications for industrial drive and automation systems.
• Recommend changes to unit and integration test plan elements as necessary.
• Manage project cost budget.
• Perform network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Work at heights as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC).
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel as needed.
