About the position
The Electrical Day Support OHC PM Team position at Nucor Steel Auburn, Inc. involves specifying, installing, repairing, and maintaining Overhead Cranes and medium voltage power systems. The role requires managing large CEA projects and leading maintenance activities while collaborating with supervisors, vendors, and contractors. The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficiency, contributing to Nucor's culture of innovation and personal connections.
Responsibilities
- Specify, install, repair, and maintain Overhead Cranes.
- Manage large CEA projects from start to completion.
- Lead other teammates, contractors, and vendors in maintenance activities related to OHCs.
- Work with area Supervisors, Vendors, and/or Contractors on projects.
- Be available to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and cover shifts when needed.
Requirements
- Certified Electrician
- 3 years Industrial Overhead Crane Maintenance experience
- Experience working with PLCs & HMIs
Nice-to-haves
- Mechanical knowledge, experience, and aptitude
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, OSHA 1910.179, ASME B30 and CMAA standards
- Proficient PC skills in CMMS, Oracle, & Microsoft office products
