We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Design and Controls Technician to join our site engineering team. This role is crucial in supporting our safety goals and ensuring compliance with industrial safety standards. The technician will be responsible for guiding efforts related to power distribution and industrial automation across multiple departments. In this position, you will play a vital role in designing and maintaining electrical control systems that are essential for the efficient operation of our plant. You will create and maintain elementary electrical control schematics and power distribution drawings, specify and purchase programmable control devices, and identify and implement new control technologies. As a resource for industrial automation and electrical technology, you will review equipment proposals and manage electrical contractors, ensuring that our plant operates effectively and efficiently.
