About the position

The position is for a hands-on electrical engineer focused on designing analog/mixed-signal PCBs and related electronics for KLA's innovative inspection tools. The role involves collaborating with senior engineers to develop Image Sensor subsystems, engaging in the design of mixed signal electronic systems, and working with multi-functional teams to ensure successful product development from concept to production release.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior members of the Sensors Engineering team to develop Image Sensor subsystems used in innovative KLA inspection tools, from concept through production release.
• Design mixed signal electronic systems, including schematic capture, simulation, and layout review.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams including software, mechanical, packaging, and production engineering.
• Create test plans and perform testing, technical and root cause analysis to validate design performance at bench and system level, including hands-on testing, specification validation, and issue resolution.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; or Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; or Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.
• Experience with FPGA is a plus.
