GHT is looking for an entry-level electrical design engineer to join their team in Arlington, VA. The role involves working on electrical design for commercial interior projects, with a focus on lighting, power circuitry, controls, and fire alarm design. Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for commercial interior projects, including lighting and power circuitry.
- Conduct site visits to job sites and perform inspections.
- Collaborate with team members and manage workflow effectively.
- Ensure compliance with building, energy, and green codes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- 1-4 years of experience in electrical design, or equivalent education/experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Revit.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical design for commercial interiors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
