Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software and tools.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Support project planning and scheduling tasks to meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Document design decisions and monitor project design progress.
  • Analyze engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to research and innovation efforts.
  • Prioritize safety in engineering work and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of design techniques and tools for technical plans and specifications.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills related to circuit theory, electromagnetism, and power systems.
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, and ComCheck.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred.
  • Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred.
