Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for solar energy projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed electrical designs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, including NEC and NFPA.
- Collaborate with team members on project specifications and requirements.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- At least 1 year of electrical design experience, with academic experience considered.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software; Draftsight CAD experience preferred.
- General understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and NFPA.
- Knowledge of renewable energy resources, particularly solar power design.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with wind turbines or steam turbines.
