About the position

We are seeking an Electrical Designer to join our team, responsible for designing electrical systems for various projects including commercial, residential, and multi-family developments. The role involves collaboration on Revit-based projects and requires proficiency in performing various electrical calculations and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design Electrical systems for commercial, residential, and multi-family projects.
• Develop construction documents.
• Collaborate on Revit-based projects.
• Perform load, voltage drop, fault current and other calculations.
• Specify equipment.
• Layout lighting and power.
• Perform Title 24 energy calculations and light fixture selection.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience preferred.
• Experience is preferred over education.
• Experience with commercial projects and/or high-end residential.
• Able to speak confidently and represent your team in meetings, phone calls, correspondence with clients.
• Able to provide direction to design team and report to seniors.
• Well versed in applicable codes and Title 24.
• Proficient in Revit.
