About the position

The Electronics Product Design Engineering position within the Walchem Engineering Department involves working as part of a growing team responsible for the development and support of monitoring and control systems used in various industrial markets. The role focuses on the architecture, design, development, testing, and release of new products, as well as maintaining and improving existing products.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, test, and release new products with electrical, mechanical, and embedded software subsystems.
• Support the development and maintenance of monitoring and control systems for industrial markets.
• Exercise leadership in product development and innovation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve product performance and reliability.
• Participate in training and skill development opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical design engineering.
• Knowledge of embedded software systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in industrial markets such as utility water treatment, wastewater treatment, food and beverage, and plating.
• Familiarity with various design methodologies and technologies.
