About the position

As an Electrical Design Engineer at KLA, you will be an integral part of the electrical design group, focusing on the development and integration of electronic hardware for eBeam review and inspection tools. This role involves collaboration with a diverse team of engineers, including Analog and Digital Electrical Engineers, firmware developers, software engineers, and mechanical engineers. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop electronic hardware that meets the high standards required for KLA's advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies. In this position, you will engage in various stages of hardware development, from initial concept through to prototype testing and debugging. You will leverage your strong problem analysis and solving capabilities to tackle complex integration challenges, ensuring that the electronic hardware functions seamlessly within the overall system. Your expertise in analog and mixed circuit analysis will be crucial as you work on circuit simulations and prototype development, contributing to the creation of innovative solutions that enhance KLA's product offerings. Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate electronic hardware for eBeam review and inspection tools.
  • Collaborate with Analog and Digital Electrical Engineers, firmware developers, software engineers, and mechanical engineers.
  • Design and develop electronic hardware that meets KLA's standards.
  • Engage in circuit analysis and simulation for hardware development.
  • Prototype development and debugging of PCB assemblies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience.
  • Strong problem analysis and solving capabilities for complex integration problems.
  • Experience in analog and mixed circuit analysis and simulation.
  • Proficient in prototype development and debugging of PCB assemblies.
  • Basic understanding of general electrical knowledge.
  • Self-motivated team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in industry equipment development.
  • Experience with high voltage low noise applications.
  • Experience in system-level noise debugging/troubleshooting.
  • Experience in Digital, FPGA, or microprocessor hardware and firmware design.
