Responsibilities

• Work with multi-functional teams to support the development of Emerson's Automation Solutions products
• Apply electrical design and development tools for circuit design schematics, PCB layout, and circuit simulations
• Perform a variety of electronic testing using common laboratory equipment
• Research and develop new insights and technologies for implementation into products
• Evaluate Emerson systems and electronic circuits to a functional block or component level

Requirements

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
• Zero (0) years of applicable experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge and experience using standard electrical test tools including oscilloscopes, bench power suppliers, digital multimeters, and function generators
• Familiarity with Cadence Schematic Capture and PCB layout tools
• Familiarity with electronic simulation tools (e.g. PSpice)
• Familiarity with data acquisition using LabView, C#
