About the position

Ripple Effect Consulting is seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter/Designer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in CAD and electrical design, particularly in the wastewater treatment sector. The role focuses on developing detailed CAD drawings, collaborating with engineers, and ensuring quality standards are met in project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD drawings from sketches provided by engineers and design staff.
• Assist in the preparation of technical details with project engineer's or project manager's guidance.
• Develop 2D drawing extractions from 3D structural models and complete detailing and annotation.
• Assist in the quality checking of drafted product and conformance with drawing production standards and project-specific CAD requirements.
• Coordinate drawing production activities between all disciplines at the project level.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in electrical drafting/design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Proficient in 2D and/or 3D CAD software, particularly Revit.
• Fundamental knowledge of Engineering Drawing layout, Detailing, and Drafting.
• Working knowledge of Water, Wastewater, and Infrastructure design.
