About the position

The Electrical Drafter will be responsible for designing and drafting control panel systems, assisting the engineering team with testing, managing the CAD library, and maintaining the electronic CAD filing system for assigned projects. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of electrical designs within the company.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft control panel systems.
• Assist the engineering team with control panel testing.
• Manage the CAD library of hardware components and grow the database.
• Maintain and manage the electronic CAD filing system on the corporate network for assigned projects.

Requirements

• Proficient use of AutoCAD.
• Ability to read schematics.
• Experience with control panel design.
• 1-3 years of experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SolidWorks Electrical.
• Knowledge of P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram).
• Ability to create loop drawings.
