The Electrical Engineer 1 position is designed for new graduates in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, providing an opportunity to work under direct supervision on various electrical system designs. Responsibilities

• Create basic designs of electric master system plans and power systems.
• Perform studies of power systems and electrical calculations for various electrical systems.
• Assist with the selection and specification of electrical components such as motor control centers and transformers.
• Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conduct site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Update design requirements as necessary.
• Contribute to the firm's technical knowledge management by developing white papers and technical design documentation.
• Submit technical papers and designs for publication in technical journals.
• Create presentation materials for conferences as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related discipline.
• 0 years of experience, as this position is targeted at new graduates.
• Basic knowledge of computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles of design.
• Knowledge of Microsoft business software (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
