As a prime consultant and sub consultant, we handle projects of various sizes across multiple sectors including commercial, retail, institutional, government, and industrial. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical design tasks, working under supervision while managing multiple projects. Experience with low voltage systems design and federal project design is a plus, as is familiarity with the National Electrical Code. Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical design tasks under supervision.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
  • Stay updated with the National Electrical Code and apply it in design work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design in the AEC industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks with supervision.
  • Desire to learn and work with a team of professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD and/or Revit.

Nice-to-haves

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Electrical Engineering or working towards it.
  • Experience with low voltage systems design.
  • Experience with federal project design.
