Additional responsibilities include evaluating assigned projects through research and applying advanced knowledge of electricity and materials. The engineer will release projects to manufacturing by preparing bills of materials, generating electrical schematics, and developing application-specific programs. They will also maintain drawing and program revisions through Engineering Change Notices and may represent engineering functions during Factory Witness Tests. The role may require some travel as the engineer gains experience, and collaboration with various teams, including Project Management, Applications, Drafting/Design, and Sales, is essential for success.
