About the position

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, control, and IT/data systems for buildings
• Prepare construction cost estimates, both in a broad and detailed scope
• Meet, communicate, and coordinate with clients to develop scopes, prepare proposals, and oversee the installation of the work
• Manage internal and external project budgets

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in building design, layout and analysis for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Revit skills
• Knowledge of LEED principles and Electrical Codes
• Institutional design experience required
