About the position

The Electrical Engineer, Circuit Design position involves designing and programming electrical systems within a growing and stable organization. The role focuses on developing state-of-the-art digital controllers and control systems, collaborating with R&D and Manufacturing teams, and utilizing various software and hardware tools. The ideal candidate will contribute to innovative solutions while ensuring accuracy and reliability in electrical designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and program electrical systems for specialized equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams on projects.
• Develop digital controllers and control systems, including related software.
• Utilize test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and in-circuit emulators.
• Read schematics and interpret hardware to facilitate software design.
• Manage multiple projects and adapt to new paths as necessary.
• Evaluate processes and recommend changes when appropriate.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
• Ability to work with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Solid understanding of electronic components and their applications.
• Relevant experience in electrical engineering, product design, or a related field.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and reliability in designs.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of PLC systems such as Allen Bradley and Rockwell.
• Familiarity with C#, Visual Basic, VBA, and Assembler programming languages.
• Experience with embedded systems, including microprocessors (8 to 32 bit).
• Knowledge of industrial data communications protocols.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.
