About the position

Phasetronics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer/Designer responsible for creating standard and custom electrical drawings for low and medium voltage products, specifically phase controllers. The role involves designing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturing documentation while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Designs special and standard products with supervision, including customer-specific order manufacturing documentation.
• Creates electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and routing layouts for full submittal drawings and bills of materials.
• Participates in new product design from concept to final product specification.
• Processes customer change requests relevant to engineering documentation.
• Works on multiple projects while maintaining customer delivery dates.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Aided Design (CAD) or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years of related experience in motor control design with AutoCAD Electrical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of relay logic, PLCs, and associated controls.
• Knowledge of current electrical codes, NEC, NFPA, UL, and EU standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Inventor and SolidWorks is a plus.
