About the position

The Electrical Engineer/Electrician will oversee electrical operations on Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) and coordinate with various services related to electrical production in tunneling projects. This role is crucial for managing large-scale tunneling projects internationally, offering a leadership position with potential relocation to global projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical operations on the TBM and coordinate with other services related to electrical production in the tunnel.
• Interface with interdisciplinary teams to establish technical and functional requirements for tunnel infrastructure.
• Execution of TBM launching and breakthrough arrangements.
• Segment selection for tunnel lining, steps, and lips checking.
• Monitoring of face pressure, soil settlement, ring building, and primary and secondary grouting.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure design specifications, method statements, and safety standards are met.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in automation and motor controls.
• Experience in HV, MV, LV electrical systems.
• Experience working on at least three underground projects involving TBM tunneling.
• A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven ability in managing electrical operations on large-scale tunneling projects.
