About the position

The Electrical Engineer - Facilities Design position at Actalent involves working within a rapidly growing design group in Northwest Ohio. The role focuses on facilities design, utilizing software such as AutoCAD and Solidworks/Microstation. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering and experience in drafting, contributing to various projects and tasks within the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design facilities using AutoCAD and Solidworks/Microstation software (50% of weekly tasks).
• Perform drafting tasks as needed (25% of weekly tasks).
• Manage projects and attend meetings (10% of weekly tasks).
• Handle other duties as assigned (15% of weekly tasks).

Requirements

• PE licensure (strongly desired) or 2-3 years of drafting electrical experience.
• 2-10+ years of facilities design experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electrical engineering, electrical design, and project engineering.
• Knowledge of plumbing design.
