About the position

The Project Manager for HVAC is responsible for overseeing various HVAC projects, ensuring they meet unique design specifications and deadlines. This role involves coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, leading large project teams, and maintaining effective communication with customers to ensure satisfaction. The Project Manager will also handle budgeting, estimating costs, and managing project resources effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple HVAC projects simultaneously.
• Develop project scope of work, budgeting, and estimating costs.
• Oversee preparation of HVAC, mechanical, piping, and plumbing project plans.
• Assist in procurement of equipment and materials.
• Review, report, and project all project costs.
• Manage project roles and coordinate resource requirements.
• Ensure effective communication and maintain relationships between customers and project team members.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC/MEP industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with HVAC, electrical, building automation/controls, boilers, air conditioning, and/or chillers.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in energy management, building commissioning, and/or systems diagnostics/troubleshooting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, and Distech Controls.
• PMP certification.
