As an Electrical Engineer I, you will design, develop, modify, and evaluate components and processes used in the generation, testing, and modification of PCBAs and electrical systems. You will determine design approaches, specifications, and parameters, analyze equipment to establish operating data, and conduct experiments. This role requires you to establish requirements for less complex design projects, complete all phases of electrical engineering design projects, analyze processes, and deliver results to necessary stakeholders. You will also analyze results and recommend solutions, develop expected results on a variety of products, and create documentation for new projects while reviewing previous results. Working with the latest technologies and new approaches, you will review changes or upgrades to existing designs or tests and exercise judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes requirements for less complex design projects
  • Completes all phases of Electrical engineering design projects
  • Analyzes processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
  • Analyzes results and recommends solutions
  • Develops expected results on a variety of products
  • Creates documentation for new projects and reviews previous results
  • Works with latest technologies and new approaches
  • Reviews changes or upgrades to existing designs or tests
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions on assignments

Requirements

  • BS degree in engineering or related field
  • For experienced candidates: BS degree and 1+ year experience in engineering
  • Classes or coursework in engineering including Digital design and Analog design and lab experience
  • Must be available to work in the Lincolnshire, IL office a minimum of 3 days a week
