About the position

The Electrical Engineer I position at TTM Technologies involves assisting in the design of power and mixed signal circuits under direct supervision. The role focuses on component selection, design evaluation, and collaboration with various engineering disciplines to ensure project schedules are met. The engineer will also support production processes and participate in design reviews, contributing to the development of innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the design of power and mixed signal circuits.
  • Perform design and component selection from specifications under supervision.
  • Work independently or within a team to meet project schedules.
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines to understand component theory and practical applications.
  • Work with interns and engineering technicians on specific program tasks, including test procedure development.
  • Design and evaluate components using design tools.
  • Follow established standard design processes and understand manufacturing limitations.
  • Prepare presentations for gated design reviews, providing simulation results and tolerances analysis.
  • Design and evaluate test circuits, correlating expected performance with test results and presenting findings clearly.
  • Provide support for designs in production and assist with the MRB process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
  • Basic understanding and strong interest in electronics.
  • Ability to design experiments and analyze data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of circuit simulation and modeling tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with design tools and simulation software.
