The Electrical Engineer I position at Westinghouse offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or those with equivalent experience to join a team dedicated to providing clean energy solutions. This hybrid role involves working on-site at the Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC facilities, focusing on the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. The position emphasizes technical expertise, safety, and quality, while fostering strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants.
  • Grow and develop extensive technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets.
  • Work in teams to resolve critical issues impacting the construction and operation of nuclear power plants.
  • Develop and maintain an effective business relationship with Westinghouse customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
  • Strong technical aptitude and passion for technical design and analysis.
  • Eagerness to learn and master engineering software.
  • Engineering in Training Certification is a plus or desire to obtain with long-term goal of obtaining P.E.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior internships in engineering are a plus.
  • Prior experience with technical engineering projects and/or research is a plus.
