About the position

At Raytheon, we are committed to helping our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. Our Digital, RF and Power Team is seeking an Electrical Engineer II who possesses strong digital electronics design and analysis skills. This role involves collaborating with a team of engineers to innovate and utilize cutting-edge technology in the design of digital electronics circuits that are crucial for missile guidance, video processing, and digital signal processing. Our technology base includes high-speed digital electronics, configurable logic, and multiprocessor designs, both homogeneous and heterogeneous. The Effector Digital Products Department is responsible for designing digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units, supporting projects from proposal through to production. The systems we develop are subjected to extreme environments, from the frigid vacuum of space to the intense heat of desert conditions and the high pressures found in ocean depths. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be tasked with the design, analysis, simulation, testing, and integration of digital electronic modules and/or circuit card assemblies (CCAs) specifically for missile applications. You will need to be well-versed in all aspects of circuit card design, including hardware designs that incorporate processors, FPGAs, memory, and various industry interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, simulate, test, and integrate digital electronic modules and/or CCAs for missile applications.
  • Collaborate with engineers to innovate and utilize cutting-edge technology in digital electronics design.
  • Develop complete hardware designs from block diagrams and requirements to verification via testing and integration.
  • Utilize PCB design processes and tools for schematic capture, analysis, and simulation prior to hardware execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical engineering circuit design experience.
  • Experience in the development and design of multi-assembly system circuit designs.
