About the position

As an Electrical Engineer II - Hardware, you will be part of a dynamic team that focuses on Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions. Your role will involve developing systems that sense, control, exploit, and disseminate actionable information to warfighters, thereby supporting a variety of military missions. The Test Products & Support (TP & S) team is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas, to create test programs for ground-based support equipment products tailored for military applications. This hardware team, composed of both Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, supports a wide array of military products, including those for the F-16 and F-35 aircraft. The team is known for its capability and often travels internationally to conduct in-country installations and testing, making this role both challenging and rewarding. In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing requirements, designing cables, creating test programs, and troubleshooting production and field returns. You will utilize commercial test programming tools such as National Instruments Test Stand and LabWindows/CVI, as well as program-specific engineering tools. The work format is hybrid, allowing for a blend of collaborative in-person and independent remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring productivity. Please note that due to government contract requirements, US citizenship is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with military specifications and requirements.
  • Knowledge of connectors, parts, and cables.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and interconnect diagrams.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS Degree with 4+ years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
