About the position

The Electrical Engineer II - Hardware position at BAE Systems involves developing test programs for ground-based support equipment products used in military applications. Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and work products.
  • Design cables and create test programs.
  • Perform troubleshooting on production and field returns.
  • Develop test programs using commercial test programming tools such as National Instruments Test Stand and LabWindows/CVI.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with military specifications and requirements.
  • Knowledge of connectors, parts, and cables.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and interconnect diagrams.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS Degree with 4+ years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
