About the position

The Electrical Engineer II (Instrumentation and Controls) at SpaceX is responsible for designing and integrating control systems and automation solutions for various aerospace applications. This role focuses on the development of physical hardware and the management of real-time data transfer from sensors and actuators to operators and engineers, ensuring the operational capability of test stands and support facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the operational capability of all control voltage level systems.
  • Design and integrate control systems for test stands and support facilities.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions for avionics and control systems.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and interpretation from test systems.
  • Support operations that enable safe and reliable access to space.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with control systems and automation in a technical environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Proficiency in designing and integrating hardware such as PCBs and PLCs.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data from test systems.
