About the position

As an Electrical Engineer II at NES Fircroft, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and commenting on engineering work performed both internally and by contractors and subcontractors. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all work is executed in accordance with company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. You will facilitate the effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. This position requires not only technical expertise but also strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate and timely communication among the team and other company functions regarding discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to the responsibilities of a Level 1 engineer, as a Level 2 engineer, you will apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs. You will also contribute to research efforts aimed at developing solutions or new products. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the high standards of engineering excellence that NES Fircroft is known for.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
