As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed documentation for electrical designs, test plans, and procedures. You will ensure that all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date. Collaboration with the team will be crucial as you design and plan tests for electrical systems and components, defining test objectives, methodologies, and success criteria to ensure thorough evaluations. You will execute electrical tests according to established plans and procedures, analyze test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvements. Additionally, you will contribute to the design and development of test fixtures, ensuring they are effective and reliable for accurate testing. Hands-on tasks such as soldering, rework, and assembly of electrical components will also be part of your responsibilities, along with supporting prototype assembly and modifications to meet design specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for electrical designs, test plans, and procedures.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and plan tests for electrical systems and components.
  • Define test objectives, methodologies, and success criteria to ensure thorough evaluation.
  • Execute electrical tests according to established plans and procedures.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Contribute to the design and development of test fixtures as needed.
  • Ensure test fixtures are effective and reliable for accurate testing.
  • Perform hands-on tasks including soldering, rework, and assembly of electrical components as required.
  • Support prototype assembly and modifications to meet design specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on documentation, test planning, and execution.
  • Proficiency in electrical test equipment and techniques.
  • Experience with soldering, rework, and assembly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with designing and developing test fixtures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Desirable familiarity with surgical robotics, medical device technology, or related fields.
