About the position

The Electrical Engineer II position at Raytheon involves designing, controlling, and improving manufacturing processes in a collaborative environment. The role focuses on enhancing cycle and lead times, implementing process controls, and translating engineering design requirements into effective manufacturing processes. The engineer will also engage in hardware defect analysis and corrective action investigations, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of production operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
  • Improve cycle time and lead time
  • Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
  • Create and oversee improvement projects
  • Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
  • Perform hardware defect analysis
  • Participate in corrective action investigations.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Preferably a degree in Electrical Engineering
