About the position

AECOM is looking for a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join our Rail and Transit team at our Oakland, CA Office. The candidate will be responsible for producing electrical and traction power construction documents for transit systems and facilities such as BART and Caltrain. Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, you will work collaboratively with a team of Engineers and Specialists across various rail systems disciplines, including systems engineering, signals, electrification systems, and project controls. Additionally, you will prepare and guide drafters/designers and junior engineers in creating one-line diagrams, elementary and wiring diagrams, communications, conduit and cable sizing/routing drawings, substation physical layouts, and selection of MV/LV electrical equipment.
