Responsibilities

• Perform power systems design for various industry clients.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Manage client relationships and identify changes in project scope.
• Conduct relay coordination studies, short circuit studies, and arc flash analysis.
• Utilize software tools such as SKM, ETAP, and AutoCAD for design projects.

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of related experience at an A&E firm as a consulting design engineer.
• Strong understanding of the NEC, electric power systems, and protective relaying principles.
• Experience with software such as SKM, ETAP, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to perform load flow studies and relay coordination studies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with software such as EasyPower, CDEGS, Revit, and BIM.
• Experience specifying medium and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Ability to perform static and dynamic load flow studies.
• Comfortable managing client relationships and coordinating with other engineering disciplines.
