The Electrical Engineer III will play a pivotal role within the Roche Sequencing Solutions Division, contributing to the design, development, and integration of electrical subsystems for next-generation sequencing systems and custom equipment. These systems encompass fluidic, mechatronic, pneumatic, thermal, and optical subsystems, which are essential for highly automated DNA sequencing pipelines and other diagnostic applications. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and refining requirements, generating system architecture, selecting and evaluating components, and designing custom PCBAs and wiring harnesses. You will oversee system-level assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. Additionally, you will develop firmware and collaborate closely with firmware and software engineers during the bring-up and integration efforts. This position is based on-site in Santa Clara, CA, and relocation benefits are not offered for this role.
