The role involves drafting detailed drawings or sketches for fabrication and assembling new or modified mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical components for various products, including industrial equipment and machinery. Co-op students will set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions, aiming to improve equipment performance and gather data for development and quality control. They will analyze test results, record procedures and outcomes, and make recommendations for product or method changes. Additionally, students may be required to perform other duties as necessary to ensure efficient plant operations, providing a comprehensive learning experience in a dynamic work environment.
