As an Electrical Engineer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will help address some of the world's most pressing infrastructure challenges. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that meet our clients' needs and contribute to the growth and success of Black & Veatch. You will be assigned to a functional area that may include Substation, Transmission, Distribution, Power System Studies, Renewables, Conventional Generation, Gas Fuels and Chemicals, Nuclear, Mining, Water/Wastewater, Telecom/Electric Vehicle Charging, or Data Centers. This role is designed for students currently enrolled in an ABET accredited university in an Electrical Engineering program, providing a platform to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. The internship program is structured to provide learning opportunities through mentorship and co/lab trainings, allowing you to network with leading experts in the industry. You will assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables such as reports, drawings, specifications, and studies. Additionally, you will engage in engineering analyses, designs, and report production, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure timely project deliverables. This role will also require you to organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems, and manage project materials, references, and documentation effectively.
