About the position

The Electrical Engineer Intern position at Motorola Solutions is designed for students pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering. The role focuses on evaluating and enhancing two-way mobile and portable communication products, contributing to the development of mission-critical communication solutions. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment, engaging in projects that involve design modifications, testing processes, and documentation generation.

Responsibilities

• Support to Project assigned by team leader.
• Support certification testing process.
• Work along with team members on customer cases resolution.
• Work along with team members on defining test plans and validation processes for components and radio certifications.
• Participate in system design.
• Generate documentation in areas of responsibility.
• Use of electronic equipment such as oscilloscope, multimeters, power meter, network analyzers, spectrum analyzer, and others.

Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• Must Graduate on or after December 2025.
• Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students).
