In this role, you will utilize your design expertise to develop innovative electrical systems that contribute to sustainability solutions, particularly in the context of water and wastewater utility projects. As an Electrical Professional Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of electrical distribution systems primarily for water and wastewater treatment facilities. This includes working on process treatment structures and buildings, where your collaboration skills will be essential in coordinating interdisciplinary work among team members for both local and remote projects. You will take the lead in generating and reviewing electrical equipment drawings, specifications, and approving vendor submittals, ensuring that we maintain the solid relationships our clients have come to expect from Jacobs. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also have the opportunity to focus on lighting design for various buildings and infrastructure-related projects, working closely with other disciplines. You will utilize software such as AGI32 and Visual for lighting design, and you will be responsible for generating project documents, including drawings, using Revit, AutoCAD, and MicroStation software.
