About The Position

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team. You will support project teams in the design and construction of electrical systems, ensuring coordinated and high-quality design and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in MEP Engineering
  • Ability and experience designing electrical systems for commercial construction projects
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit

Responsibilities

  • Function as Electrical Engineer on assignments.
  • Ensure coordinated design on projects.
  • Contribute to estimation of projects, planning, and construction feasibility.
  • Participate in the development of design drawings and technical specifications.
  • Provide advisory information during the construction phase.
  • Perform site surveys and contribute to engineering studies.
  • Attend and contribute to office, client, and project meetings.
  • Monitor project production and schedules to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure the quality of the work produced maintains high standards.
  • Perform engineering studies.
  • Perform technical and coordination check-review of project documentation and drawings.
  • Follow up on issues with design and production staff to resolve problems and concerns.
  • Participate in internal project meetings on a regular basis, including being responsible for meeting minutes.
  • Act as liaison between owners/primes and the firm.
  • Coordinate with owner/client representatives.
  • Assure project's quality control and quality assurance standards.
  • Ensure project design and construction issues are addressed and resolved to the benefit and satisfaction of the owner/client.
  • Support the development of project scope, scheduling and budget, and/or construction estimating.
  • Support the development of business in the region by pursuing new contacts and open communication with the current client base.
  • Ensure all production adheres to company quality standards.
