About the position

The Electrical Engineer position at TJC and Associates is a mid-level role focused on electrical design engineering within a collaborative team environment. Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scoping, proposing, and coordinating technical activities of the team for limited-scope projects.
• Manage project budgets, design, QA/QC, and production for specific project elements.
• Prepare intermediate-level drawings, calculations, estimates, specifications, and reports for electrical design tasks.
• Collect technical data for analysis to perform electrical design tasks.
• Develop electrical design reports, calculations, and drawings that meet current electrical design codes and standards.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to obtain necessary technical data for electrical designs.
• Prepare project deliverables using TJCAA standards and practices, incorporating client requirements within specified timelines.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of working experience in electrical engineering, specifically in the design of power, lighting, and control systems for water and wastewater treatment structures.
• PE license in California.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or qualified to work in the U.S. without employer visa assistance.
