About the position

The Electrical Engineer, New Graduate will oversee electrical maintenance activities at the plant, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental standards. This role is part of the Holcim US Build4Growth Program, a 16-month development initiative designed to provide foundational knowledge and experience in cement manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure electrical project work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Supervise electrical and instrumentation technicians in executing daily work orders and projects.
• Conduct systematic inspections on all plant electrical equipment as part of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Document electrical schematics and manage spare parts inventory.
• Maintain system documentation including master equipment files and regulatory compliance files.
• Troubleshoot control system hardware and software problems.
• Provide control system training and guidance for plant personnel.
• Participate in defining and executing equipment and process modifications to improve reliability and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• 0 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Self-starter and highly motivated team player.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP for work order management.
• Familiarity with control system programming and troubleshooting.
