Regular communication with clients is essential, including routine status meetings and submitting progress reports to keep them informed of project developments. In addition to project management responsibilities, the role includes tracking and resolving open items and emergent project issues, coordinating the completion of project deliverables, and developing procurement engineering evaluations to support plant maintenance. The candidate will provide technical oversight for electrical engineering activities, which includes evaluating spare parts for electromechanical equipment and ensuring the replacement or upgrade of existing plant equipment to maintain long-term reliability. The role also involves preparing equipment procurement specifications and participating in the bid review evaluation process for potential equipment vendors, which includes supporting vendor requests for additional information and maintaining a tracking mechanism for questions and responses. The position requires interfacing with clients to validate project scope and ensure satisfaction, mentoring and guiding the development of group members, and identifying client needs that may lead to strategic opportunities. The candidate will leverage strong client relationships to develop follow-on work from existing clients and prepare and coordinate multi-discipline teams to achieve project goals.
