About the position
GRAEF is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their MEP group at the Milwaukee Headquarters. Responsibilities
- Perform calculations, equipment selection, and design for electrical systems.
- Work on a wide array of projects, benefiting from national client relationships.
- Participate in project pursuits and proposals, developing strong client relationships.
- Mentor less experienced electrical staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
- Professional registration as a PE.
- Working knowledge of applicable building codes.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and specification preparation for various building types.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Bluebeam.
- Basic understanding of electrical construction materials and methods.
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of Autodesk (AutoCAD, Revit) preferred.
- Project Management experience preferred.
- Experience managing multiple engineering disciplines is a plus.
- Good interoffice and client communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
- Fee proposal preparation experience a plus.
